Awesome. Thanks a bunch—I sort of felt like my list for this year was missing one or two things! I’ve never considered Albert Camus African because he was a Pied-Noir (from a French family that settled in Algeria), but he grew up there his themes reflect that. Maybe I’ll throw ‘The Plague’ and/or ‘Purple Hibiscus’ on the 2012 list.
