I’d like to actually understand what Einstein wrote one day. I’ve read and understood some of the philosophers he was inspired by (Immanuel Kant) but not Einstein. Until then, all I really know is that he had great hair.

The Diary of Anne Frank
I’m reading The Diary of Anne Frank—the version which put back much of the deleted material from her diary. The originally published version left out unflattering portions about her mother, and particular parts about her personal desires.
Except, I haven’t gotten to the diary yet because I’m reading all of the critical essays on her life, legacy and betrayal. Remind me to stop picking up revised, 100 millionth anniversary, critical editions of books with a forward, notes, essays, and an afterward in them, k?

THIS IS WHAT A CLEAN BOOK ROOM LOOKS LIKE! I know it’s hard to believe that this is clean but if I had any foresight I would have taken a before picture and you all would have been very impressed.
